How do I make a booking?

I take bookings via DM on instagram, email and I have a booking form in the Contact page of this website. Message me with a rough idea of what you’re looking to get, along with placement, size and any reference photos you like to help with the design process.

For large scale pieces I like to book a consultation appointment to take photos of the area and to better assess the design and flow of the piece.

Where do you work?

I am currently travelling and working in coastal British Columbia, Canada. I will be updating my instagram profile with dates, studios and guest spot locations, so if you’re interested in being tattooed send me an email or a dm and hopefully we can make it happen.

How does the deposit work? And how much is it?

The deposit depends on the type of booking you want to make. If you want to book a full-day session, the deposit is $300. If you’re after a half-day session, the deposit is $150. The deposit can be paid via bank transfer after we’ve agreed on a date for the appointment.

The price of deposits are custom to change in the busier months surrounding July and Christmas, due to the influx of cancellations during these periods. It’s a tough time of year for everybody, but deposits are to show that you are serious about getting tattooed by me.

All deposits are non refundable once sent. However if you need to reschedule, 48 hours notice is required for me to still honour your original deposit and find you another date. Anything less than 48 hours notice and your deposit will be forfeited and you’ll need to pay another deposit to secure the rest of your bookings asap.

How do I potentially lose my deposit?

If you do not show up to your appointment without giving me 48 hours notice, I will be forced to keep your deposit. This limits the amount of time I have to find another client to fill my day.

How do I book in if I am from out of state or overseas?

The process is much the same, though instead of a face to face consultation we will just chat over the phone about the design and appointment dates. I may also require photos of the area you’re wanting tattooed so that I may draw it to scale.

If you are travelling far, you must understand the extra expenses and effort you will have to endure. Travel and accommodation can quite easily double the cost of your trip, so keep that in mind.

What should I bring to my appointment ?

Snacks, sugary drinks or treats you like. Make sure you’re wearing comfy clothes (maybe don’t wear white if you care about it staying white) and if you feel it necessary, a blanket and pillow can make your experience a lot more comfortable.

Sugar, comfort and some sort of mindless, easy entertainment can make a huge difference when getting tattooed. Also make sure you’re not coming in after a night out, have plenty of sleep and a big meal before your appointment. Also expect the pain to be terrible, most of the time if you expect the worst your body will back you up and you’ll get through it without a worry.

How much does it cost? How long does it take?

The total price of a potential tattoo is often unknown to me. There are too many variables involved to accurately quote a sleeve/ back-piece etc. so I prefer not to quote a piece on face value. For full-day sessions I charge $1200, and for half-days I charge $650. Full-days are usually around 7 hours and half-days are 3.5 hours. Alternatively I am $200 per hour for smaller pieces.

If we finish a full-day session a little earlier than the 7 hours, I will calculate the session based on the $200 per hour rate and charge you the cheaper of both prices.

As for time, I usually book the amount of sessions I believe are necessary to complete the tattoo. I tattoo fairly quickly depending on the intricacy of the design but if price is a big factor for you, there are ways to simplify a design to make it quicker. Make sure you are open and honest with me and yourself before committing to such a project.
